Here are some reasons why we really need a smoking room.

By providing a special area for smoking, it is hoped that it can minimize the disturbance of cigarette smoke to non-smokers and health risks for non-smokers who may be passively exposed to cigarette smoke in other public areas. With the existence of smoking rooms, it will give smokers the opportunity to continue their habit. And the number of smokers will not decrease, and the country's economy will remain stable.

In 2022, It was recorded that 3.44% of children in Indonesia aged 18 and under smoke. Of that number, 8.92% are children aged 16–18, 1.45% are children aged 13–15, and 0.11% are children aged 10–12. The role of parents in overcoming this problem is to provide counseling and set a good example by not smoking in front of them.
